> problem when updating firmware of p900

hi all....
well i have a urgent probelm well when i went to the p900 site ti upgrade my firmware and all i did everything rite ....and then i came to the page where it says please wait while sony ericsson checks the update installed in ur computer ... well then the screen should change automatically rite!! or i should get a message sayin to download a file and all rite ...!! but i get nothing!!! it just hangs on that page does not move forward after that ...at all .... the explorer says done to the page and nothing comes after that page ...
well can anybody tell me whats wrong?? well i have windows xp professional only and also windows xp home edition service pack 1 and i have tired it on both but it just hangs on that page i mean the computer does not hang but nothing else loads after that !!?? why???
well should i try to first install netsescape communicator or navigator and would that work!???
also i have download the firmupgrade files from moility world website but then again there is no .exe file in that or setup file ...there all in some other format which i cannot open!!....
i also have lunix red hat 9 ..should i install that and then the upgrade can work from lunix ??
well plz to tell me what to do ...

I installed JDK only ....(it is freeeeee)
then go to the site .....it will work without any problems .... i am damn sure ...

Same thing happened to me!
2 previous upgrades no problem but I get 'sync station in use by other application close application and try again'. No other app running! Contacted SE support (UK) who gave me the run around until I demanded that the problem be raised in priority and they gave me a case no. and I am still waiting for further response (2 days wait!!!!!!!!).

Well do download that 12mb file i need to move automatically from that page which says please wait searching for sony ericsson update and then it just hangs there ... wel let try downloadin the JDK and i will get back to u ...
