just as the subject says: if intensively used my P800 becomes hot to the touch and becomes unstable. shutting it down, taking the battery out and blowing on the back of the phone cools it down and solves the problem. HOWEVER i would like 2 know if any1 else has this problem. if no, should i take it back to be repaired/replaced?
Thanks!

Do a search. I think that somebody had this problem. Maybe you found in it how to solve it. I personally would in to :se: service point and ask he they can do with it something. This message was posted from a T300

You sure its not the heat from yer grubby little mits though... holding it for prolonged lengths of times can generate a little warmth so they tell me...

You could always strap some sort of ice pack to the back just in case... or maybe purchase a battery powered fan and some sticky tape or blu tac if you feel a little minimalist...

The obvious answer... in my obvious opinion... is to take it to a repairing place if you are concerned with it... if you can live with it, then don't bother... of maybe give them a ring beforehand to get their technical opinion... since no-one seems to be able to offer any more advice here, other than do a search (which is working by the way)...

It could also be the overly thick, Fisher Price stylee plastic used in the creation of the P800 which prevents the expulsion of heat as generated by the many brightly coloured moving parts which you can see underneath the aforementioned chassis if you look closely...

if ur p800 is heating up.

It maybe due to the heavy usage on applications that are currently running , or alwasy runnin unneccessarily. or there is a fault in the battery .
When u recharge the battery , do u feel that the phone overheats then also,
better show it to some repair ppl then, mate.

cheers

I kind of notice the same thing (P800 heats when used intensively)...
Still, I'm not sure if its the device or my hand

would say its the device as I've noticed that after 2-3 ours of non-stop use

i don't think it overheats
for example if you listen to music for 3 hours with the screen on the p800 doesn't overheat at all
but if you view the net with opera i becomes warmer but that's becouse of your own hand and plastic....

Yeah. Your argument is convincing.
Must be the hand and plastic, I agree
