> Any way to get a firmware upgrade here in California?

Well i have a t610 with t-mobile, and i have firmware R1L, or for t-mobile i think it was something like R1S or something, and im just wondering if anyone knows of any places to go here in CA, or better yet, here in the los angeles area, thanks in advance.

All (legal) upgrades are being done at the SE Service Center in Chanhassen, MN.
1) You have to call T-Mobile first and sell them some crap about your phone not working properly and needing a new software. They will offer you a replacement unit, but you decline it and then follow their instructions.
2) Otherwise, just call SE (800) 374-2776 and ask for an upgrade. Be ready to pay for it. If not willing to pay, follow step 1.

yeah its stupid i cant seem to get an upgrade. sony ericsson keeps telling me to contact t mobile and t mobile tells me to call se....
thanks for the advice; will see if i can get that done. Hopefuly I wont have to SEND the phone in, can't live without my cell.
