After reading the posts to make sure this hasnt been covered or I cant find it anywhere.
My question is I can get on the internet through the data cable on my t616 and surf normally it appears it shows as data transfer in the data log so does this type of "dial up" show up on my bill as data usage. I did find reference to what it dials which is *9***1#. So im guessing this is a gprs command and I show a world on the phone display.
I tried att but theyre into transfering calls. I dont want to rack up a huge data bill.
If it is seen as data by the carrier is there anyway to get to the internet using a regular NPA-NXXX from the data cable and use only airtime?
