Thought so! But you aint changed your avatar yet.
Are you using custom firmware? From what I've read this might prevent you from changing it, although I might be wrong.

Not sure what it is... It is with Orange... I got a letter with it saying how I can upgrade the firmware using my dock etc. which I understand that people with P900 orange can't do ?

You can't change the startup screen on any P900 (orange or not) as it's stored on the ROM (Read Only Memory), i believe it was possible on the P800.

To change your startup animation, first you have to get rid of the orange firmware. Take your p900 to an SE service centre and get rid of those horrible orange customisations. Then your p9 will display the original SE startup/shutdown mp4s. If u like, u can create your own startup and shutdown animations and place them in a new folder on your c drive called sysdata. This may or may not make sense as im drunk and im about to make some chow mein supernoodles. I really like them with loads of pepper and salt. Pot noodles can be ok too but i havent had one for ages. Spicy curry was my favourite.
