I could not manage it to work on my P900. I had tried RealVNC and TightVNC connected from VNCviewer 1.1 and VNC Port 4.1 but no luck.

I had set the desktop resolution to 800x600 already. Both VNC client closed itself after I pressed OK to connect.

Anyone did manage it to work on P900? Which VNC server and client you used? Thanks!

Using RealVNC client 1.1 and Server 4.0b4 for windows. I have it only on the P800. Haven't installed it on the P900.

I reinstalled RealVNC server.

But my VNCViewer 1.1 still failed to connect. Client just closed

Does RealVNC has it's own client for Symbain ??

I used the tightVNC server on my PC and connected to it via bluetooth.

If you are trying to connect via Bluetooth the thing to remember is that you establish a serial port connection to your phone first. This means that your phone is effectively connected to the computer. Therefore you can connect to the computer using the IP address 127.0.0.1 but you need to remember to allow loop back connections in the VNC server. It is one of the options on a tightVNC server.

Its not really that useable though. Event with a 1MB/s connection over Bluetooth it takes a while to redraw the screen. Also the screen is displaying in portrait format so you dont get to see much of what is on your computer screen, meaning you have to keep scrolling around.

Good luck

I have TightVNC 3.3.6 on my Server (PC) at home and use VNC Viewer on P900 to check it over a Cable connection. Works fine. Even faster than Citrix Alpha Client...
