Bookmark topic
Hi,
I have installed the Tube (London) software in my P900.
Although the tube map and the rail map work fine, I am having difficulties when it comes to load the streetmap.
When the phone restarts the streetmap can be loaded. But when I have used other apps it will prompt "not enough memory" and "close other programs to free memory Yes or No). Well i click on yes but still nothing happens. i have tried to use handyday to close all other apps but i noticed that the phone application (usually at 850-950k) is over 1000k-1100k... So the streetmap will not open..
Please help if you know the solution or have any ideas that will solve this issue!
Thanks v much
Harry

The street map does use a lot of memory, cos it has a lot of data on it
When i was using the app on my p800, i found that sometimes the only way to open it was to restart the phone.

that is a shame though isn't it??!! that is exactly what I am doing to get it to work.....I am wondering if they are going to release an update on that or by any means make it work properly....

You need to upgrade to the latest firmware - works much better in that

I have expeienced this problem.
the solution is easy.
if you dont have SMAN 1.2 installed, download and install.(this application is a must for the p800/p900.
with sman1.2 close all active applications , then use the Tube. then you will not face any problem.
it is a good practice with sman1.2 to flush or close all active and not needed applications, as these stay operating in the background and consumes lots of the battery and the memmory.
good luck, let me know

Just downloaded sman1.2
Everything works great now...I'm surprised...Thank's very much for the help
by the way...it is a shame that SE did not integrate a manager to do that or did not put an option "exit" so the applications would close upon request...
anyways, maybe it will be with the next update or p1000 or something!!
thanks again...
