I have read that is is possible to get my phone 'flashed' back to it's 'factory settings' (ie get rid of all 'Orange' references on my phone, but is it posible to recieve the O2 version of the software on my phone ?
Any help much appreciated !

Trust me, you'd prefer to get the standard Sony Ericsson version. I have the o2 crap on my z600 and its a pain in the ass. Get yourself a terminator dongle and you can flash it yourself.

You might be able to change where it links to (in wap profiles, change the homepage) but you wont be able to change any icons or predefined links unless you flash the software.
