I'm trying to get my XP laptop to recognise the syncstation.
I belive the expected behavior is that a wizzard will pop up and guide me when the USB cable is connected.
However, nothing happens when the USB cable is connected. XP doesn't seem to recognize the sync station. It doesn't get listed in in my USB device list on the Safely Remove Hardware list for example.
Is anyone else using XP? Have you had this trouble?
Thanks,
Paul

Hiya,
I'm having the *exact* same problem here!
I've had it working before, but it intermittently stops working, and since I did a reinstall the other day it hasn't worked at all, no matter how many times I install and uninstall the software
No ideas of how to fix it - tempted to work out how to sync using bluetooth but would prefer to get the syncstation working!
Will keep looking...

Go to check the Hardware Profile, you may probably see the USB device icon disabled or even gone. Why? Don't ask me, I saw this on many XP machines. If you didn't upgrade your XP to SP1 then you are lucky, cuz installing SP1 the USB will be back

Chula et al.,
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
That did the trick. I looked in the hardware area. The syncstation device was disabled. When I tried to enable it, the laptop complained that it had a bad/non-existent driver and gave me the opportunity to install one. It offered me 4 choices - I guessed at one based on the file name. And it all seems to be working now. Hopefully, it will stay that way.
Thanks,
Paul T
