Using DRS-11 to sync T65 (phone contacts) with PC, using the tool for non-Outlook users. Also, using T65 as GPRS modem for the PC.

Various observation on various computers/operating systems:

1) On one computer (old MMX), works almost fine with WinME. I can edit and update contacts in the phone memory, but it shows me only 10 or 18 first contacts I got in the SIM card (the phone says I have 99 of them there, which is correct).
On this computer, under WinME, I can also successfully use the phone as a GPRS modem.

2) Same old computer, dual-booting to WinXP. Same syndroms as with WinME. Little worse, disconnecting the GPRS dial up network on the PC side does not close the GPRS session on the phone. I must close it manually.

3) Dual proc. PIII, Win2k computer. Sync program cannot find the t65 at all, nor does that tool to sync the background images. However, I was able to create dial up connection using the t65 as a GPRS modem. It works, but again, the phone does not terminate an open GPRS session when DUN is disconnected on the computer side.

4) HP Omnibook notebook (PIII), Win2k. Similar as under (1), all sync solutions (contacts, background, GPRS modem) work fine, although it also shows only the first dozen of contacts memorized in the SIM card.

Most experimenting with GPRS modem connection I performed by using the notebook (4). One problem I observed (I described in an earlier post): The phone immidiately reboots (starting from " Enter PIN:") when upload or download capacity exceeds the given 3+1 channel bandwith (I use certain peer-to-peer application where I can control how frequently and how large UDP datagrams are sent from one side to another).

Did you observe similar problems?
