First off, I am very sorry for starting this topic. Will someone who actually remembers (I suck) please direct me to the proper site? (This is why we need this)

I recently bought a T616 Tattoo Faceplate, and it was really cool, but as cool as it is, it still will only be cheap plastic. Well, I was successful in acheiving an original aluminum faceplate, and I would like to paint it black.

I remember seeing a post on here about someone doing that, and people asking him if the paint was chipping off. If I remember correctly, he used Rustproof Paint, and also Playdough and masking/painter's tape. Well, he said that he'd post a new pic like every week or so, so we could keep up with how it was faring, but he hasn't, so I'm wondering if anybody remembers where his post is. Thanks!!!

Also, MixiN, how is your pink P800 faring? Is it doing well?

my case has a few chips.. but thats from me being drunk and throwing it around. If i was less of a drinker, im sure it would be in tip top shape

Has held out quite well apart from that.
Not having a p800 anymore though, i iwll be repraying the case, and putting it on ebay me thinks

I'm not into 'painting-brush', 'might damage the face plate. Why not just buy an original one from designated SE accessories' store.
