Hello

I got a new jabra bt250!
I got some problems with it.
The voice dailing doesnt work. If i want to record new tags , it gets them from the phone`s mic , so when i try to use it from the jabra, it doesnt recognize anything i say. EVER!
Another thing is that voice recordings are not heard threw the jabra.
Is this the way it should be or maybe something will help.

Thank you..

Yeah I am having the same problem with my BT250, when I used to have my ericsson BT headsets, I could record the voice tag through the headset, I hope there is a way to do this with the Jabra.

Doc11 can you help me out, I have a T616 and I think the manual page number might be different from the T610, can you explain how it works?

Go to the voice controll menu and open your existing voice tags. Now press thie headset button and when it connects start browsing down your contacts. You should now be hearing the tags through the headset . Now you can re-record your commands with the headset mic.

Tried the technique oulined, and sure enough you can hear the tags, and re-record them.
Problem is that when I tried to dial using them I never get a match ??
Any ideas what I am doing wrong ?

PROBLEMS Solved.... Voice Dial works Great !

had an Email from Jabra which explains all....

I would like to suggest you to pair both devices with the headset profil instead
of the handsfree.

After testing our headsets with the Sony Ericsson Handsets, we have noticed that
in order to optimize voice dialing, both devices should be paired with the
headset profile instead of the Handsfree profile.

For that, you just need to press the multifunction button (and not the volume up
button) until you have a constant blue light.

Did the above and it works very well.

Quick question. Using the "headset" profile, do you still get the full functionality of the headset? I'm particularly interested in the magic word and voice dialing functions. Thanks.

Thanks for all the help above. I have a T610 and a Jabra BT250. I have been messing with these for ever trying to get all the functions to work correctly. I have been able to get everything working fine with the exception of "caller name". I can use "voice dialing" fine but still do not hear the name of the caller in my headset when recieving a call. Has anyone solved this problem?
