Does anybody know when Orange will start their 3G services?
Will the Z1010 be on it?

Orange will start it's service 3G in August. The Z1010 will be one of the first 3G handsets on Orange along with a LG handset.

Thanks for that. So basically all the networks should have there 3G up and running my the summer! Do you think any of the major networks will be able to offer deals that 3 are offering at the moment?

I'm pretty certain there'll be even better deals, as increased competition means lower prices.

I would expect their tariffs to cost more than '3's but as long as '3' keep doing the same one you should be able to get other networks to match it with a little persuasion

T-Mobile will launch their 3G service in May 2004. One handset said to be confirmed is the Z1010.
So you could get the phone even earlier than on Orange.

On the 3 network can you have your handset constantly connected to the 2G network. I mean so it constantly uses the O2 network for voice calls? That is all I would use it for and 750 cross network minutes for £17.50 for the first 12 months is amazing!
