> Good news for Lebanon(T68i upgrade)

Hi Lebanese t68iers I called celltec today and the technicien confirmed me that he will have the T68i upgrade for T68 by the week 21.
Remember that we have the t68i in Lebanon since 3 weeks and that it's enough to prove that the upgrade will be available,also our version is T68m not T68mc which are supposed to be the ones that will not be upgraded.
I have eaten in snack el mathaf

By the way, I've called Libannet today and they just answered that the upgrade will be available by next week but it'll not have all the features they mentioned on the FAQ!!!
anyway let's wait and see...

When he told me that some features may be taken out, I just answered by: YES i know that... it may be WAP2.0 and one more feature not more.... and then I added if more features are taken out, u'll be giving me a t68i, I laughed and closed the line.

You supposed it was wap that will be taken off or they told you so?
If cool features like 57 pics , the CLI identification and the mms are taken away it will simply not be the upgrade we are waiting for!
Only 5 days remaining before the BIG day!

I called SE in Hong Kong and they told me only MMS fucntion will be added. Other picture CLID and stuff will not be available. I am not sure if we have the same upgrade or not.

i will be coming to beirut, lebanon in a few weeks with my T68i with the MMS software, so if any of u want i can flash the software and give u guys the upgrade if possible

I think they are in the biz of "sell and forget"....
but i can always go to celltec for the upgrade i always had my mobile updated there even with a cepp warranty.
I think there is no wap 2.0 and things will be a little different from the t68i because of the memory management difference between the too phone
