Hi!

When will Cingular launch T630 or the American version of that model? Btw, is there going to be American version of that model? How will it be called?

Cheers,
Constantine.

Will it be T630 or the American version?

Btw, is it possible to get a SE phone or SW update in the US (Greenville, NC) to support Russian language input? Right now I have T68i and T616, and they both do not support Russian input.

Nope. Not anything official (for flash). Might email SE though. The 630 that is coming out will be american version for Cingular, with 850/1900gsm, and I think I heard it will have 1800mhz as well.

Any more info on this ?
a) any info on pricing ?
b) will they (Cingular) allow use of the built-in chat (IM) client ?
c) will they enable PTT capabilities ?

from SE site...

The push to talk capability is based on the Push to talk over Cellular (PoC) standard, ensuring the interoperability required to create substantial subscriber adoption.

The Sonim-based push to talk service, a new mobile technology standard, fits an array of different situations, and is well suited for small and medium enterprises that need frequent intermediate contacts, or consumers that want to chat with friends and family.
