just wondering...my friend's P800 can recognize the presence of my phone in his bluetooth, but why can't my T610 recognize his? weird thing is, i can send and receive using bluetooth in all bluetooth-enabled phones, but whenever i search for new devices, none of those phones comes up. the only time that i have a "new device" in my bluetooth was when i was beside somebody who was also using t610. question is, can my phone detect only T610's in its new devices folder? but why can i send and receive from and to other phones? help.

have u tried the visibility thingy yet? (connectivity -> bluetooth -> option -> visibility -> show phone) u should be able to detect other phones, even nokias, when u search for new device, provided its within the range of 10 meters.

that's what i did. no avail. i work where everybody has their bluetooth on, my phone can only pick up the T610's, not the other phones i.e nokia, etc. im stumped.

I don't know, it just sounds like you need to make sure that other people have their phone visible Bluetooth when they are using their bluetooth. If this is truly not the matter, then return the phone. However, by the fact that you said your phone could indeed "see" another T610 (no offense here intended), I just think that you need to learn how to use your phone a little better.

yeah. i made sure that all of the phones's bluetooth is on...but, my T610's supposed to "see" all the other phones (SE of Nokia), aight?
