Pardon my ignorance, but is there any software that allows us to backup our phone /contacts directly to the Memory stick (Sort of like the Backup Buddy VFS for Palm handhelds.) without having to put the phone in the cradle and backing it up via your PC? Thanks in advance

A phone based backup program would truly be great since we can be on the road and not worry about anything bad happening to the phone because we will be able to do backup and restore on the move.

oxygen software will backup most data on the phone. not expensive either.
