Bookmark topic
I have a T610 in the silver colour but i want to change it to blue or red and i know i can buy the housing and do it myself but i dont want to risk it and i dont want to void my warranty. Could i go to a SE Service centre and ask them to do it or is there any other ways i can do it without voiding the warranty?
Thanks in advance for the help.

So you think SE will change it for me and how do i find the nearest service point.
Ive seen them on ebay for about 5 to 15 english pounds. The US guy you can get them for about US$29.99 to $45 but they have a sale so there only $6.90 to bout $15.99...go to
http://www.cellphoneshop.net/cellphoneshop/faforsoert6t.html
and check it out there really cheap. But to change it you will need to buy a special screwdriver if changing it yourself but that voids youre warranty so find out it SE will change it.

Well sorry,
SONY Ericsson will NOT replace your faceplate for you.
I called and found out that they wouldn't switch out faceplates even if you have a
Red/Blue faceplate or the
Original Silver faceplate and the
T6 Torx Screwdriver to go along with it. (They will send it off to a service center, funny, I thought they were that)
Sorry.

Hi! I can say you, that it is a pretty hard work to put on a new housing! It is hard even 4 professionals with special tools! The best u can do is 2 take it to the se store! Contact: roobi@tippnet.co.yu!

Nah, once you've done it a while, it is
VERY easy to do. I have absolutely no problem doing this.
