> P800 Problem (defective jog dial)
Bookmark topic
Well, it seems my P800 has a defective button. It is on the jog dial. When i pull it towards me it doesnt move. I tried to re-configure it using a program but nothing happened. So i am wondering, what is the address so i can send the phone in for a repair or is there anything i should know before sending my phone in for repair

If you are brave, you can try fixing it yourself. You can order the jogdial part and install it in your p800. The part is ~$13. If you break it, you will void your warranty.

If it is under warranty, but it is easy to do it yourself(if you are mechanically inclined). I removed mine when I painted my housing, it was not too bad at all, but be careful with the connection(at the end of the ribbon, where it meets the board), but that may be the source of teh problem not the actual button itself.
