I hope that Peter Jackson wins Best Director. Not so much for Return of the King, but for the trilogy as a whole. What he has done with those films is quite astounding.

Hali Berry can talk about black women not winning Oscars, but fantasy and sci fi is just as descriminated against. Return of the King would be the first fantasy/sci fi film to ever win the best picture award, and I very much hope it does.
