Umm... not meaning to sound overly sadistic or anything...

But if your screen doesn't come on, then what on earth are we meant to do about it?.

There comes a time where one must accept that perhaps hardware does go wrong, especially something as touchy as screens (play on words there... touchy.. screen... touch screen... apologies!)

If it don't come on and the screen is important to you, then take the bloody thing back where it came from... if you can live without the screen, then carry on as you are... be my guest

Anyone esle have any ideas?

Well you didn't actually say that you could still view the screen now did you...

If it;s just the touch screen part that isn't working then, remember that the screen is not touch sensitive in flip closed mode...seemingly obvious, but i still find myself hoping it will come to life when the flip is closed !

Also, have the screen protector fairies put one of their little plastic covers over your screen... I have read a few people who notice that these things can make the screen less active.. indeed, my very own phone sporting such a protecto is a little less responsive towards the right hand, extreme, side of the phone...

Failing that, I reiterate my previous post !

That's ok, just that where I live, I often hear that the term "banging" has a whole different meaning to tapping the phone on a table or floor, and I won't even consider one's head! (!)
