Hm, I can't really figure out what the case is here. You should try to re-record your voice command in a super quiet environment. That was my problem. If that isn't working, then connect your headset and try recording the commands. When I say "connect", I mean go into the "My Devices" and highlight your headset and select "Connect".

Try this.

I have a P900/HBH-65. I'm sure the process is the same.

First make sure u actually have pairing between both phone and headset

1. Press the Call Handling Button on ur headset.
2. Between the 1st and 3rd low deep hit the record button on ur phone. (If u wait for all 3 low beeps or the single high beep it wont work).
3. Record ur command.
4. Wait a few seconds then play back.

If u still have problems, probably best to call the SE help desk in ur area.

mine works fine without having to record through the headset, I believe the statement about having to initially record them in a quiet enviroment is probably why it works for me.

Hi there . . . this is whats happening if i do what you are telling me . . . ok so my hbh-65 and my z600 are paired up allready , i go to menu > connect > Bluetooth > My Devices> i pick my hbh-65 > Connect > than it says connecting > hbh-65 connected > and the headset icon appears . . . (i configured my hbh-65 to work with the headset profile) and after a couples of seconds it just goes away . . . if i receive a call it connects back , so heres my question again . . . how do u keep it connected so it will record my voice

bensonl . . .

Like i said . . . im not too bright i cant get the hbh 65 to record what im saying . . . this is what i do to record a voice dialing contact . . . menu > phonebook > Voice Commands > Add Voice Tag > add > any name > select > and theres it shows me . . . after the tone , hold the phone to your ear and say the name . . . is it here where im supposed to press the talk button on my hbh-65 ??? and when i do press it , i wait to the second low beep , but it just records on the phone not on the headset . . . what am i doing wrong . . . or please tell me wheres this record button . . . im using a z600 . . . thanks !

I have a T610 and a Jabra 200 but if I go to Voice controll /Voice dialling /Edit names and then press my headset button, I get a constant connection I can use to record new names. It's actually quite hard to get it to disconnect again!

I've never succeeded recording voice commands through my bluetooth on the z600. On the T39 you could press the bluetooth button after entering "add voice command" and you could record the voice command via the headset on the next try. That doesn't seem to work with the z600.

On the other hand, you can as suggested above record the voice commands directly into the phone (in a quiet setting) and then activate them from the headset.

Have you tried resetting the headset and removing the HBH entry from your Z600? Why don't you try this and re-pair them again? Something might have gone wrong during the first pairing process.

I don't have a Z600, but on my T68i and T610, whenever I select 'connect' on My Devices, the headset remains connected until I decide to stop recording voice tags.
