I don`t know whether in THEORY the T610 could support MIDP 2.0. It isn't just processor speed, it's also available memory. I know that the P800 will not be updated to MIDP 2.0 in part because of hardware issues. So, I would SUSPECT that the answer is no, but I really don't know.

So looks like were plum outa luck people!

i am looking forward for the MIDP 2.0 release for Z6xx or T6xx as well. i hope they will put it in as well for next upgrade.

We wont get MIDP2, we may get the hybrid 120 release but that's the best we can hope for.

As for other stuff, they are apparently looking at adding AMR ringer's and some of our other 'niggles' into future updates.
