well I did cut and paste the release notes which you should be able to see in wap and I don't see any mention of what you ask for

I've just installed this little darling and I must it looks delicious. The fonts are so much more pleasing on the eye and the whole thing feels more robust and of a higher quality than previous versions. Bravo boys, well done! I give it a resounding upturned thumb.

Yes font is now truetype representation & looks much better.
Still managed to lock the whole phone up trying to access my online banking service but I have never been able to connect on any portable device other than a true PC with full Browser so not a big issue.
