Hi!Since the 3 network in the UK launched the new payandgo service which is very cheap,I thinking to get one.But the problem is I don't want those brick phones and I don't really want the creapy video calls. So I want to put the 3 sim in to my P900.Is anyone ever tried that? What do you think guys?

Try it and let us know what happens.

My instinct says it will never work..................

I think it's worth a try.
My mate bought one of the Motorola whatever on 3 PAYG yesterday & to setup the 3 Services the phone just downloaded a .jar Java file!

apparently most new "3" sims wont work on non "3" handsets because of some special code being used to stop exactly the thing you are proposing!

yup they wont, if youre thinking of getting a pay and go one...why??

say you spend £15/month you get 100mins

£150 for phone + £180 in vouchers over 12 months = £330

or get the same phone free on videotalk 500 at The Link

3 months at £12.50 = £37.50
9 months at £25 = £225
£100 chequback after month 6

= £162.50 for 1 yr PLUS you get 500mins/month not 100 !

Not suitable for everyone of course but a WAY better deal.

Fraud & Security will block your usim. Trust me, its not worth the hassle of calling for a replacement. This message was posted from a P800
