Hi - I'm trying to get the BMW Bluetooth kit from my local dealer (Toronto) - have seen a lot of info on the web for this piece and have BMW part numbers. There is a kit for cars with the 640 option and without.
The dealer has given me a different part number for apparently the same kit and now is telling me that the Option 640 is a Bluetooth-specific pre-wiring (I think that its just the mobile phone pre-wiring that all Euro and US spec cars are shipped with these days).
I have a 2003 330Ci with phone controls on the steering wheel - I'm thinking that this is probably a likely indicator that my car is pre-wired.
Does anybody have a handle on this (and why the BMW dealers seem "out of sync" and reluctant?) I have a Sony Ericsson T616 phone.
