I have the ericsson data cable DRS-10, and have downloaded the
"MY PICTURES" software from the sonyericsson website. With the cable you should be able to send images up to 1200 kb, but using this software they come out really poor, and can get better picture quality using wap. Has any one else had this problem, and does any one know any other software that will work with the cable.
Please help.
Also i know how to get free dummy phones so that you can use the front cover, Ill post that later.

I sent an email to sonyericsson blagging them that i needed a dummy phone for a collage project. They gave me a phone number to call, and i just said i needed a dummy phone and they sent me a t68i 2 days later free of charge, you can use the front and back cover but you have to take the cover off the top of the battery if you want to put it in the white one. Ill put the number to call on when i get home.
I think they will get suspicious if hundreds of people phone.
But just make an excuse up.

I was getting much the same results using the IR until I slowed down the transfer rate on my computers IR port. That took care of the problem. Since the cable works on some of the same prinicpals this might be something to try. A speed like 9600 bps might be a place to start from.

Little tip for your pictures via cable:
using paint shop pro:
increase the level of saturation from 20 to 30 it depends on the picture.
the pic will look too colored but it's intentional.
You need to decrease the lightness by 5 to 10
