What makes this different to a master reset?
Do all the unused files from unistalled programs get removed?
Are any network specific numbers in the phone (voicemail, etc) wiped or do they stay?

i did a master reset and i only had 9mb internal memory free on my p800

All files not part of the firmware/OS as well as all settings not on the SIM are gone when you format the internal disk.
