> I have tried the Z1010
Bookmark topic
I just got to try a Z1010 for 10 minutes. A friend of mine works for a teleoperator and they are testing them now with their 3G net. It is difficult to describe everything so i think it is better that you ask me questions and i answer them to the best of my knowledge. Though i give you a couple of really nice things:
- When you play MP3-songs and fold the phone (close it), the song that is being played (and time remaining) is visible on the external screen. Really nice looking.
- The menus are probably the best looking i have ever seen. (The screen is also fantastic)
- I got to try video-telephony LIVE in their 3G-network. Really nice.
- The model i got to try out had a brand new firmware AND new hardware (just 1 day old) so it was the very latest version of the phone. My friend told me even though the phone was really nice it had been quit buggy for the last months but in the brand new version it was very stable. (Everything worked fine for the 10 minutes i tried it).

So the OS is much better than the one on T610/T630/Z600 ?? Is the phone thick and heavy?

I did take pictures and recorded video. The pictures looked really nice (far better then T610), and the videos i took where smooth and nice.
About the MP3s and functions when the flip is closed i am embarresed to say that i did not test it, sorry. I will try to get my hands on it again this weekend.
The OS is much like the T610/T630/Z600 but just much better looking. The icons are detailed and in great color. The size is quite large but stil balanced. Since the screen is so big the size feels good. The wheight was something i really did not think about, probably means the weight is quite alright. But all in all, it is quite thick when folded and looking at it from the side. But when you open it it feels really nice and quite thin.

many people have already said next month, a post earlier today quoted 10th march in Sweden.
but asking when is it going to be available also need to be followed by a location, because its bound to come to different places at different times.
I expect you will be waiting a while yet in India
