mine too. my battery life is horrific. had the phone a week now; unplug at 8am, and it's a 45% by 1pm. ridiculous.

I charged mine monday morning. my battery still has 36% left (thursday evening).

I have the phone for about a month, I was careful to "train" it by draining it completely (down to auto-shutdown) 2 or 3 times.

I have bluetooth on, but not discoverable, no IRDA. maybe 20m calls daily, a bit of GPRS, a bit of uploading stuff via bluetooth and a couple meetings using a bluetooth headset..

What I do is that I put it into "flight mode" at night.

this must be a bug that we both have in our handsets grex, i was gonna take out an insurance claim to replace it today, coz i'm sure as hell not letting celestica touch my phone, until i read about the update, i'm just doing a full restore now on it, so i hope this sorts the battery drain out

Hello there gentlemen (and ladies if there are any here!)

I firmly think that it makes a massive difference if you have the application called Switcher installed so that you can terminate unused applications once you are done with them.

I used Switcher religiously, and once I actually managed to squeeze a full SIX DAYS out of it!!!!

I dont have bluetooth turned on, use GPRS sometimes and I did make a few calls that week, although I must admit that I did'nt use it particularly heavily that week and I never switch my phone off, although that still is amazing to me, because I never got that much out of my P800 (although I always played the mp3 player then)

Anyway..........I think that if you always run switcher immediately after you use the camcorder/video player/picture viewer or Opera (these are apps which occupy most memory) just run Switcher, and terminate the apps which you are'nt using, and then use the free memory option, it works like magic, try it.

Hope this helps you guys, let me know how it goes

BTW: SORRY FOR GOING OFF TOPIC!!! JUST WANTED TO SHARE INFO!

What part is updated to R3A06? I'm guessing the PDA part? as that is the only part of mine lower than R3A06.
