> Problem with P900 and HCB-30

Hi
Just replaced 68i with P900. Otherwise great phone, but doesn't work properly with my Bluetooth set in my car HCB-30. Here is what happens
1. Pairing went fine, phone found HCB-30.
2. The first strange thing was after successful pairing HCB-30 didn't have green light on.
3. What's happening now:
- when I'm calling (dial or voice) - everything is fine, sound tranferred to HCB
- when somebody is calling me - it goes only to the phone and HCB is staying dead.
HCB used to work with T68 perfectly
I tried to pair HCB-30 and P900 at least dozen of times
I have latest firmware for p900.
Frustrated....and run out of ideas.
Any hints are appreciated

if they have a newer firmware for your HCB. If you have been using it with your T68i, I could only assume that it has an older firmware.
Aside from this, I couldn't think of anything else that could be wrong with your set-up.

I've noticed that if I answer from the P900, the sound will go to the handset. If I answer from the HCB-30, the sound will go to the headset/speaker.

1/ The green light on the HCB-30 will only be on when a call is active,
It will not be permanently lit (as with T610 etc.)
2/ Answering the call via the phone will overide the HCB-30, and the call will be taken with the handset. If you answer the call via the HCB-30 control panel then it will be on handsfree.
3/ If you are having problems with intermittent connection to the HCB-30 then this is a problem with bluetooth on the phone and in my case required replacement of the handset. Updating of the Firmware will NOT cure this...

youll have to wait untill SE sort out the bluetooth R5D firmware rev.
this problem happens on most BT headsets.
saying that, the new p900 firmware is slightly better although BT still hasnt been upgraded yet
