This is the possible reasons why the upgrade has been delayed from week16 to week20 and week21:
the upgrade of week 16 is simply the R2b0013 which was important,or the famous t68/i upgrade.
If it's the t68/i upgrade this is the most probable scenarios:
Technicians of SE could not deliver the soft and said they need About one month to totally finish it without bugs,week 16+4=20 so as you know when you program something big and delicate you can never be sure when you will finish exactly it could be 4 weeks or 1 less or 1 more.For our chance it has been 1 week more.
Or SE wanted that the t68i are launched Everywhere in the world before launching the soft,as you know many countries launched the t68i this week(20).
Or SE is definitively the dumbiest mobile company ever,because why they would promise heavens for your t68 if they will never do it?They are now in a situation where they are Obliged to make it or they will loose millions of customers beleive me!

said that the upgrade would be released in December/January... but then they said "there is no reason for releasing this software since no mobile network has support for MMS"...

But don't forget that the t68 is not compatible with the mca20 which cost 150 to 200$ alone! But with the upgrade it will be possible to use it on t68 that's why the upgrade is not only limited to mms but also has picture book and CLI.
And if they say that "why releasing it there is no MMS operators" so why did they release the t68i?
I have paid 400$ for a t68,not a half one,because as you know I can download only one picture ,in the "i" 56 pics and it's the same hardware.If the upgrade is not released soon anybody whom bought a t68 can oblige SE to change it with a t68i.Me for exemple I was very surprised to see the t68i released only one week after I bought my t68.
I was very upset because the shop didn't told me that.

If you remember, se decided to take away some funtions before the release of t68.
The had to make a new software, but didn't have the time, so they threw in another phones software (t39 I think).
Which explains the strange things you find in text labels in the service menu.
So the t68 was really a t39 when it was released!

There are 57 pictures with the software.
At the moment I have 97 pictures stored.. and I've deleted about 15-20 of the original 57..
