I was trying to find some info on the release date of the Z1010 today and in the process visited the O2, Vodafone, Orange & T-Mobile shops. I asked them when they would be launching 3G & what phones.
All gave virtually the same answer:
Our 3G service is functional and currently being tested but is not set for launch until at least Q3! And we have no idea what phones will be offered!
Vodaphone though did say they expect to have 'their own phones' i.e. in the same manner as GX10/20

So not good news but there you go.

Telia is launching 3G in sweden in 2 weeks, so yes i would expect (if everything goes well) to see the Z1010 out within a month

Don't u guys have ...shops? U know, those places where u can find import goods.Do u always wait for a factory to appear in ur country so u can buy the product?I don't know why u lament so much.Here, for example i can get whatever telephone i want at max 2-3 weeks after the launch ,even if they lauched it in Asia or Alaska. There r firms making its money like that u know...

Yes, you could pay around £500 for an imported Z1010 within the next month, or you could also wait until 3G networks start carrying it and get it for free with a contract, plus unusually high free minutes.

We've got shops that'll get imported phones but they rip u off big time while it's unavailable in this country!
