As it says. But for some of us its could in back to the 80's. I say the ericsson dont know what its called but i had it in 1989. The first time i ever went mobile

i'd be inclined to agree, its in my top 5 for sure.
my best phone ever prize goes to the Motorola 8500, due to owning this phone for more than 3 years and it never going wrong it would be a sin to give the prize to any other handset...even though you couldnt even search names in the phone book, you had to find by number.

My vote got to go to my trusted T39. Have had it for 3 years now and still use it from time to time. It even went with me to the summit of Mt Blanc! =)

I have to say the Ericsson GH688. Had one for 7 years now and it has never broken - only had to get a new battery twice.
Other than that I would also say Ericsson T39 and Nokia 3000-series.
