my new p900 simply refuses to recognise the memory stick duo 32 mb that came with it; unable to format the card (from my phone ) as well - says "disk corrupt"
tried a new 128 mb card - same result; both cards are Ok when connected to my pc thro' a reader - the default directories are present in the 32 mb card
tried a firmware upgrade and a master reset as well; same problem remains; someone PLEASE HELP !!!

Try using your phone to format the card...I've found that usually sorts a lot of things out.

sounds like a phone issue. I would take the phone and cards back to where you bought them from and ask the shop to sort it out.
I've never had probelms with my memory cards on either my p900 or my wifes p800.

I've recently started experiencing the same problem. My 128Mb card (which has been working for 6 months with no problems) yesterday has started coming up with 'Disk Corrupt' Can anyone help??

yeah, sometimes, when i try and write date onto the card, it says that the disk is corrupt, the work around for me, is to store everything like programs, ogg's, movies and stuff on the disk, and then use the dynamic memory reserved for taking photos, contacts, calender notes, and generally stuff like that because i only get the disk corrupt message when i am writing data from the phone, like, when i take a picture and select it to go onto external memory, my memory card doesn't like me doing that and so rejects it, whereas if i wrote data onto it via my memory card reader, then it is fine.
although, when i first got my memory card reader, it decided it wanted to corrupt my memory stick duo and make it unusable in my phone, i don't know how i overcame this problem, every now and again (at that time i had the problem), i just kept on reformatting it on my pc, then reformatting it on my phone, and then just going into a the video's app to get the folders created onto the memory stick, like the image, audio, documents, other (those folders which are put on by the p900 itself (and the p800)), i think eventually, one of those times made the duo start working again,
i was told that i could send the duo back and get it replaced as it is still under warranty, but i really cannot be arsed, :$
