> SPV E200 - Good or bad battery life?

I have just had a customer return an Orange SPV E200 today because of the battery only lasting 12 hours.
He used about 17 minutes in total of calls and no wap or email, but did have a Bluetooth headset connected for a good 10 hours!
Is this common?
I know the manual states and optimum battery life of 2.5 days standby - but not even getting a day out of it - thats bad!
Any views on this would be appreciated.
