I was on holiday last week in Dublin and i was sat in the hotel bar and noticed that several people had laptops, PDA's and one even had their p900 with them!!! Anyway for a bit of fun i decided to see if i could pick up anyone elses phone with their bluetooth on. I was staggered to find that i could! Not only that but some people chose to use their real names to name their bonded devices!!! Gulp!
The question i wanted to ask was if i attempted to bond with a bluetooth device of a complete stranger or send a bluetooth message, would my mobile number be made visible to the other user?.

hmm.... i'm not sure but nobody would do it if the recipient could see the mob number. They would just call, see whose phone rings and give them a good beating (if they sent an abusive message).

But i'm not sure so dont take my word for it.
