im new here

i am really fascinated by the fact that switchbitch and energetic told us all the a P800 can actaully be upgraded to the P900 firmware......a part of me says it may be possible and the other part says this is all crap......

well actually i read posts here for about a year now and if it wasnt for switchbitch and energetic i wouldnt register here in esato and to come up with this post....

i am a owner of a P800.....me and other P800 users here in the Philippines would like to try that upgrade that switchbitch and energetic claims....i have friends who know how to crack and hack phones and i think we should give this a go so we could put an end to this.....

another thing....does anyone have the videos that switchbitch post? i havent seen it yet! if anyone has it pls do send it to my email pjtmanzano@yahoo.com thanks.....ill keep you all posted if the upgrade is possible, thats all for now...

Can anybody tell me why the thread with the mentioned videos all of a sudden became unavailable, i.e. marked "private"?

SE intervention?

be patient and see this:
http://www.infosyncworld.com/news/n/4639.html
but read it all and you'll see that we still can think of the p900's features on p800... sony ericsson says... how do you think on creating a new topic on that, eh? =)

Hmm, smells a bit fishy!

Didn't the poster say enough about the risks involved?

Shame, it was the most interesting thread on this board. i still have a nagging feeling that someone may have been "persuaded" by some SE lobbyist to remove the thread...

Please prove me wrong!

The answer is in this topic.

Quote Masseur:

@zentro
Guess you were just proven wrong...

@tranquil: from a realists P800 owners point of view i beg you, lock this topic before the wishful thinking hordes descend on it!? pls? it offers fa to esato as a whole and just serves to degrade the quality of conversation in these hallowed halls! Afaik this reflects the opinions of a vast majority of happy P800 users out there, most likely, privately, yourself included... i rest my case...

Damn, there goes my conspiracy theory! Thanks for shedding some light on this.

Still, it was an interesting thread and I never got to see the vids. I guess, now it's too late.

I'm not too upset though, as I'm very happy with my P800 as it is. I was just wondering if the videos were real or not.
