> z 600 problems

My Phone has jsut completed a month today and i have faced couple of weird problems like today suddenly my V-Rally becomes unavailable, pls chk out my problems and Im gonna visit the SE Customer Care tommorow, So its better to know wht to speak out there....
1. Phone does not show constant network, It transfers to SOS
Only mode even when the slightest signal is available and does not transfer back in full signal unless phone is restarted.
2. Phone occasionally slows and hangs, has to be restarted.
3. Phone has missing applications (Bundled Games/V-Rally-Pre Defined Item is missing)
4. Phone misses call occasionally when it is flipped open to talk
5. The Busy tone button (-) does not function properly when incoming call has to be shown busy.
6. Battery back up of phone has become considerably slow lasting between a day to 10 hrs.
7. Loud-speaker hisses when playing ringtones.

never suffered any problems apart from one hang in the month I have had it, that had something to do with bluetooth, cant remember details. Always picks up the call when its flipped open and the battery is fine as long as I dont fiddle with it constantly like the first week I got it, average 2-3 days depending on use (mainly txting with the odd short phone call) The loud hiss I have noticed a few times but it dont bother me and I have to be near the phone speaker to hear it.

Just tell them all these things although most of them are provider related( the signal thing) or subjective ( battery and slowness).I don't have these problems.
The last thing about the ringtome-speaker, it's normal...what u want? An Infinity or Bose sound system on a phone?!

1. this is a network issue and not so much a phone issue. Coverage in your area is not to great by your own network, SOS calls means uit's picked up coverage on another network, but you cannot roam nationally. Try selecting your network manually rather than automatically and see if you can keep (even a faint) signal on your onw network.
2. I hate to tell you this, but this just happens. Especially when browsing, my phone tends to 'hang'.
3. have you inadvertedly deleted anyting? If not, this may have been caused by popping the battery or restartuing the phone after 'hanging' Try shitting the phone down and restarting it the normal way. Else try a soft reset. If that too fails try a master reset.
4. ??? you mean when you're on a call or when you have the flip open for an application?
5. ? press the 'no' button? Did the button come lose or does it not invoke the desired action?
6. You mean charging your battery? how long have you charged it the first couple of times? A new battery perhaps? Are you still under warranty?
7. yes... so does mine. It's not a perfect hi-fi box I'm afraid.

Thank you guys for the support, but here is the sereis of problmes i need to clarify.
1)The network service i use was on manual mode, and i also shifted my SIM to a nokia handset 3530 and it was perfectly catching the signal, BTW I was not out of town just in the near by suburbs.
2)I had done a master reset intially which had caused most of my freebies going kaboom, but i mamaged to save the predefined items , V-Rally is pre-bundled so i guess there was some other error.
3)Yeah! Although I don't expect a Bose speaker on my phone but I do expect that the speaker should have been better and also they could have worked on the sound recorder which records bad sounds.
4) I use the Nokia Method for charging the battery, When the phone goes on the Red Line(Low Battery Disp) then I recharge it, On average i noticed that it does charge between 2 hrs- 3hrs.
5)The Bluetooth..I guess many users are having the hangups but surprisingl , my bluetooth never made the phone hang , it used to do it pretty much itself.
6)The question of missing calls when flipping open the phone is limited only to Incoming calls I receive 2 times out of 10 this happens.
7)The issues of (-) button to show busy for incmoing call, well it runs fine when i want to check phone status or change volume but it slows when an incoming call has to be shown busy.
I happened to visit the customer care and the dude helped by saying nothings wrong with the phone we will service it and upgrade to the latest firmware n that should solve the problem. Dnt knw I will be on my way to pick it up later today..god hope Its ok.....!

well the latest here is that I have got back my phone,I asked the technician to chek out my problems see above.
For network he says signals are never constant, even in nokia so thst not the problem.
For corruption of game file he said Don't knw wht happened maybe u might master reset the phone intially that might have caused some files to go missing hence all this pandemonium.
He says SE has only r2foo2 as the legal firm available for Z 600 any other he says come back later after 3 months. I argued tht R5B is the latest he says must be still under testing or not for asian markets.
So well I have the handset in my hand now...Boy it feels great to hold back my baby...So lets hope things run fine again...
Is it possible for you guys to go and check the latest firmware for your Z600 in your countries.

Firmware is not released for all countries at the same time. Might have summat to do with language packs and scripts, I'm not sure, but there may be different 'latest' fw out at different locations at any one time.

Hi well now I guess I need more Help...today my phone was again dropping network so i went to SE again , Now hear this....
The Customer rep says SE will change the Phone...But he says that only the internal circuit will be changed and IMEI, but the exterior body remains the same.
Is it possible to replace according to this condition under SE Policies..if its not much trouble could anyone of u people could confirm with your SE centers..
Yeah! If your camera is faulty then do they replace the camera or the whole upper panel..Is it integrated or wht.

over here they give you another phone (different box, imei everything) under warranty instead of replacing circuitboards.
