Just got an email claiming to be from eBay saying that I have to click on the link to sign in with user name and password to update information.
DON'T EVEY TRUST THESE SPOOF EMAILS - they are just a scam where people collect your information so they can use your account.
It turned out the email came from someone in Japan.
NEVER TRUST EMAIL FROM EBAY!!!!
Just wanted you guys to know so you don't get ripped off.

Ebay, paypal and other companies always say that they will never ask for your password in an email, and will also say check the http link that you are on when entering passwords, if it isn't
http://www.ebay.co.uk, or similer, don't enter your info
I never seem to receive emails like these, always see warnings, but never the actuall emails

In fact, don't just delete there emails, ebay have an address where you can forward them to and they will attempt to trace and prosecute the senders.

Yes, forward the emails to
spoof@ebay.com and leave everything as it was..do not write anything yourself.

abuse@paypal.com or something like that. Don't have tuime to look it up but I'm fairly sure they must have an abuse or fraud dept
