Anybody knows the difference of T68i hardware R2A and R3A??
I have hardware R3A but my friend only has R2A. What's the difference??
Also, I have software R2B025 and his is R2A. Is his hardware and software version the oldest?

I had asked SE about the difference in the 68i and 68ie models. they told me that the 68ie was for the expanded GSM services (not the chinese language version like had been posted here earlier). They would not commit to what type (EDGE, etc.) and it appears to be a WCDMA feature of some sort. We'll see if hardware version has any bearing on the ability to upgrade as subsequent software is released. In a roundabout way, I did not answer your question, just offered another possibility...

T68ie is an "ordinary" T68i but its optimized for the Chineese users. It has nothing to do with WCDMA or EDGE.
