> downloading themes to t610

Hi peeps, newbie here so be patient plz...i bought a cd off e bay with loads of games wallpapers themes ect, the games & backgrounds even midis r transfering through my irda on my laptop but when i try & transfer a theme it just saves under "my pictures" & doesnt d/l to my phone as the full theme, it just looks like a shabby wallpaper with the wrong date time ect on it....any help would be much appreciated coz its doin my head in !!

Is the file saved as a .thm file? This is what the phone needs in order to have it be a theme.

Hi there, yeah its on the disk as a .thm file but when i send it it just loads on the fone as a wallpaper but it saves in "my themes" but it doesnt show diffo menus or the correct time date ect, any help would be appreciated...im thinking do i have to use the theme creator program to make up the menus ect & then send them to the phone that way? i thought i could just send them direct from the cd rom as ive done with the ringtones screen savers & games?

Geez. Yeah, you should be able to just send it to your phone since it's a .thm file. Yeah, I guess you could open it up in
Theme Creator Pro and then re-save it, then try to send it to your phone.

Got them to work ok now...the earlier ones on the cd must have been corrupt or something, i just tried a nintendo one & it saves so i`ll delete & try some more out...thanks for your help m8 !

I have seen them theyre cheap and easy basically your paying someone to find them for you. I have time and no money so I look here for them. Some cds are better than others.

time and date are not part of the theme though, they are part of your firmware settings
I would not have thought a corrupt theme can alter them.. especially since the phone won't actually open a corrupted thm file to begin with
