hmmm... would be quite peaceful with no coverage in the subway, no phones ringing...
not that I use my phone whenever I go with the subway, but I do use it sometimes, so it's good that you can use it underground as well

yeah on Friday I have been working at here Deutsche Boerse for 3 (long) years
It is good having the networks accessable underground though becasue although I don't make too many calls I can keep an eye on here
now, if only BA and Qantas would provide such a connection in the air...

Amazing. This country (and some other) wants to have 3G up&running soon and properly (this will take time) and GSM is not even available in the metro after a bit more than a decade of existence!!!
Btw, they should only provide WCDMA on underground, as a marketing argument for 3G, if they want to sell it
FYI, GSM's been available wherever you go in Finland and Sweden for years! It's such a pain to be in US, UK or France or... and not be able to keep a phone call ongoing as soon as you go take the subway/underground/metro (as appropriate
) or not being able to surf the web when commuting via metro is ridiculous!
Anyway, enjoy it!
