I have baught 2 used t68i phones advertised as unlocked. Neather one would work with my cingular sim card. It says searcheng and then there is no signal. after calling cingular they say its my phone that has a problem. does this phone work with cingular? I would appreciate any help.

Yes, being "Unlocked", it means that it will work with your carrier. Sounds like the phone wasn't unlocked.

I have found out the the t68i does not work with the cingular service in florida. It was not the phone.

Correct. GSM 850 only for Cingular in Fla. Gotta go with t-mobile or att.
