I end up in the cafeteria of school today and our campus supervisor was there too, and she mentions to me that there is a phone in the office that flips open, with a big screen. My heart was racing as i walked down the hall to the office, as i looked over the desk and saw my phone resting gently against a stack of paper. MY BABY! I screamed as i lifted her genty, her sleek smooth curves, and her beautiful reflective glass screen WHICH IS DAMAGED!!!!!!!! WTF! The lcd inside had broken, the glass was spotless (but my screen protector was missing) Looks like someone spilled ink on it, that just means the LCD inside broke. Called SE today, they want $200 to repair it. Anyways, we know the kid who stole the phone, eye witnesses saw him with it on the bus after school, 2 people actually. The police are involved, but very shaky about the whole situation. My father called the officer last night at midnight when he got on shift and talked some sense into him, looks like we will be getting a court date for the kid in a few weeks, at a local small claims court. My friends stuff is still missing, a digital voice recorder and an electronic dictionary... but atleast my baby is back in my hands

Hope all goes well.
I have a 1 inch scratch on my screen and SE wants $200 for that as well + 21 days to replace the plastic protector. What a scam!!! You pay $800 for the P900 another $100 for apps to get the best productivity out of the P900 and then you get creamed on repairs. Well looks like us P900 lovers should plan on at least $1,200 to keep our beloved P900 in tip-top shape.

Sounds to me like a luxury car. (Of course you don't have to spend any money on software for a BMW, but I guess you could.)

If you donīt afford the repairs you should be more careful with the phone. To change display on 9210 costs about 350$ and that is a worse and no touch display. I Donīt think itīs a high price

It's a bit harsh to complain about the repair costs, when you've caused the damage. The screen does scratch very easily - but presumably the material it is made of necessitates this. I've made mine bomb-proof with a Piel Frama leather case and the Write-Shield screen protectors. About 40 quid in total, but hey - you gotta do what you gotta do for love!

That sounds good, he'll be no ones problem, if say he continually fails to turn up at school, or anywhere for that matter.
