I have triede several times to transfere a document (.doc) and/or a text file (.txt) and then use the build in reader, but the only text I see on the screen is garbage...
Futher to that if I have received an email with an attached document, all I can see in the document is strange signs as well...
are there any special way to read the doc's other than tap on the doc or am I doing something wrong...
I have also triede to search the CD which came with the P900 as the mnual says that there are more text readser included in the CD, however I have not been able to find it...so are they lying or have I misunderstood something??

There are more readers on the CD (and newer ones than that on the web)

If you can't read the DOC files they may not be in Word format. I seem to recall other software using that extension as well.
Check what version of what software they're created in, and try a copy of Quick Office.

i have the same problem specially on powerpoint slides. its really garbage, you dont see anything. have you tried viewer filters? ive downloaded one but im afraid to install its. please share when you get yours going. i copied a word doc once & the viewer wud not show it in full screen even if you zoom it down. in fact it gives an error message whenever you change the settings.

Yeah, so far this is the only thing I'm a little bit disapointed in the P900, before this a got rather old PDA (a Revo, for those who cares) and even that one could view and edit both word and excel nicely...
So I wonder if anyone knows an app that support both viewin and editing of text documents, excel documents and the like... Would be just great!

Quick office, what is that? Somefing for the P900? *curious and unknowing*

hhmmmm just triede to send a doc and a xls file via BT and I can read them, however if I try to send it trough an email as an attachement, then it will download the file, but the file now got the extension XXXXXXXX.DOC.CAB i just wonder why this happens? If I try to rename the file to a DOC file (jus by removing the ".CAB"), but I can not open it.
So does the email compress the file to a CAB file or what is happening??
