hi guys,
i know you can get 2.5mm to 3.5mm jacks from websites like pcmobile but im not willing to pay for shipping when its more than the product itself! so im wondering if any of you aussies know of any local shops (epecially in melbourne) that may carry this. ive turned places like dick smith and every mobile accessory shop upside down looking for this.

I'm sure I have seen them at Dick Smiths and Tandy so I suggest double checking with them

Are there details on how to make your own?

Ideally, what I'd like to do (but don't want to butcher a cable), it to chop the ear buds off the SE headphones, then attach a decent pair of Sony headphones to the wire ends.

Possible?
