I have a hard time making my mind up right now: Should I buy a P900 or a Dell Axim X3i with BT and WLAN and keep t610?
Both solutions have their pros and cons the way I see it.
What are your thoughts about it?
I think the Axim beats the living daylight out of the P900 when it comes to PDA functionality, but it is cumbersome to carry two devices on the other hand..
If I were rich enough iīd get both Axim and P900 AND keep 610
Problem is, I ainīt and canīt so.. what do you think?

Well I have always been an advocate of the separates but currently do have a a P900, a T630 and an iPAQ and this year the decision seems harder than it was last year when I had P800, T610 and iPAQ! Last year the P800 lost out.

The advantage of separates is that when you don't need the iPAQ around (i.e. out for the evening etc) you can just take the small phone and its hardly noticeable.

The P900 however is slimmer than its old counterpart and I find it less cumbersome to carry around so I am not so sure any more about that argument.

The P900 was winning me over with all the movies and music floating around but I have found out how to do my own on iPAQ now so thats not an issue.

The P900 is also much more stable than the P800 and so I am less frustrated with it. Indeed being all in one device does make many things simpler to setup but once you have the combo figured out the result is pretty much the same.

I'm not sure if any of that is much help but I guess I too will face the decision again sometime soon and I suspect the T630/iPAQ combo will again win out for the reasons already given

Being a P900 user I'd say P900, it suits my needs as l dont need all the features of a palm pc. You have to decide what is important for you to have in way of functions and consider the pros and cons of each device and decide for yourself. This message was posted from a P900
