i am trying to edit a photo on my p900, its only 151kb in size but every time i tap on edit photo it says 'not enough memory' even though i have 8mb free on my handset and 7mb on my card.
any clues?

This happens a lot with JPEG files (assuming it's a JPEG).
JPEG is a compressed format, so although the file size is only 151K, when uncompressed it may be much higher.

Also its nothing to do with the amount of memory space you have, its RAM you need to worry about. You may be low on running memory resulting in this problem. Make sure no other apps are running and you should be able to avoid this problem.
