What connection are you using with Opera?
Your WAP GPRS account or Internet GPRS account?

Ok. A little explanation now.
The connection can be either made over GPRS or CSD (normal phone call). Someone correct me if i'm wrong now: The Gateway can allow you to access WAP sites or WWW sites (and this is made over GPRS or CSD for both cases).
Usually to access WWW sites you have to setup an "Internet account". To access WAP sites you have a normal "WAP account". Check what accounts you have set up on your phone. Something in control panel (i'm not with the phone right now...so i can't lead you).
Try connecting Opera with different accounts (if there is more than one).

Krubach,
this is what i know...
i have two internet accouts
picture messaging (MMS)
t-Mobile GPRS (WAP)
currenty, the preferred account points to T-Mobile GPRS
is this correct for both the default browser and Opera?
also, someone mentioned the address (or ACN) should be internet2.voicestream.com, but for my t-mobile GPRS account, it is set to wap.voicestream.com
could this be the problem?
quiet frankly, what is the differenct between wap.voicestream.com & internet2.voicestream.com? is this something T-Mobile needs to activate for me? I do have T-zones.
anyone has any input on this, please feel free to jump right in

@ sfaguy,
Hi. Tried a zillion time but could never connect thru opera to t-zones. If u go 2 the original brower that comes with ur P900 open up a new URL and type in
www.wap.myvoicestream.com and that should take you 2 the t-zones page. It actually comes up as a neat page not like the other crappy pages u get with the original browser. So expect for swapping back and forth between the browers, I get t-zones pretty ok.
Now on the different internet settings on T-mobile. Here is what I've gathered so far from a different forum:
wap.voicestream.com APN ONLY allows access to the T-Mobile WAP server (and the MMS server), you cannot access the internet2 or internet3 servers with this wap plan.
internet2.voicestream.com is the normal APN for accessing the web / net / mail from a laptop (or the built in mail client in some phones to access mail on the T-Mobile mail server), however it does not route all Ports (does not allow VPN or some mail services outside the T-Mobile domain).
internet3.voicestream.com is the "everything" APN, you can use VPN (and PPTP) through it and hit just about any server out there.
Now, for how you get access....
If you have T-Zones you can access wap.voicestream.com only
If you have an "Internet Plan" you can access wap.voicestream.com and internet2.voicestream.com.
If you have the "Pro" or "VPN" service (there is no extra cost for this
compared to a "regular Internet Plan") you can access
internet3.voicestream.com and wap.voicestream.com (but NOT
internet2.voicestream.com!).
Which way 2 go??? Depends on what u want and if it is worth the extra $19.99/month for an internet plan. You the internet plan u simple call t-mobile and ask for the plan to be added 2 ur account.
Hope this helps.

@sfguy
OK. I think bensonl explained very clearly what type of accounts you can have.
The settings you have on your P900 seem correct.
Maybe it's some Opera issue. Can't help you anymore, I'm not a US T-Mobile user...
